The Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism also joins this year, along with other European countries, the European Heritage Days 2013 designed in 1991 by the Council of Europe and the European Commission with the aim to enhance and promote dialogue and exchange in the field of cu lturale between European countries.
In Italy, the event will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2013 and will also include the opening night of 20 to 24 for those institutions participating in the project “Night at the Museum“, which in exceptional cases will be open free of charge.
In order to promote knowledge of Italian cultural heritage will be organized numerous initiatives throughout the country and will be open to the public free of charge all the places of culture state. These will be joined by the places of art belonging to other reality (institutions, organizations) that want to join the event.
