On the occasion of Women’s Day, Saturday, March 8, Galleria Giorgio Franchetti alla Ca ‘d’Oro intends to pay tribute to all women, offering visitors a path for women between the works of the collection with two tours (11 am and 16 pm ) and a conference, at 17:00 in the lecture hall of the museum – “Women in the history of Venice” – in which the journalist and historical Daniela Zamburlin deepen the story of Venetian women lived in different eras, with particular regard to the protagonists belonging in different socio-economic strata, who have worked often hostility of their environment and in bold discrepancy with the costumes.
